Gamecocks Storm Past Dynamos in Bulawayo Thriller
Obriel Chirinda was the hero on a famous afternoon in Bulawayo, scoring twice as Chicken Inn FC came from behind to beat Dynamos 2-1 at Luveve Stadium.
The visitors took an early lead through a deflected effort, but The Gamecocks responded with intensity, and skipper Passmore Bernard headed in a corner just before the break to level the scores.
Chirinda then took over in the second half. His clinical poacher's finish on 64 minutes turned the game on its head, and a long-range strike from Khama Billiat Jr almost extended the lead before Chirinda wrapped up the win with a calm finish from the spot.
"This is for our fans," said captain Bernard after the final whistle. "Luveve has been incredible today. This is what The Gamecocks are all about."
